R there Coincidences

I would like to begin with a note of gratitude to my readers who are sending me such warmand kind words of encouragement. Grateful to you all for reading, commenting and sharing my blog.

Another week of many events, many blessings and each day bringing many miracles.

Highlight from last Friday till Tuesday was meeting up with students whom I taught 28 years ago and though our association together was for just 7 months, it was like bonding with my children. Most of them are just a few years younger than me but the common factor is they all love me and even today have regards, love and respect. Some of them have preserved fondly the little gift I had made on the last day and I had written a message for each one of them.

For one of the student I had written that you shall win the world with your smile and fly high. He went on to work with airlines and has indeed won everyone's heart. He has traveled far and wide and has made an impact on many lives.

Our reunion happened as another dear student who has been in touch came for a visit from US. As I always say I m the wealthiest as I receive abundance of love and warmth from them all.

Tuesday the student who has traveled a lot  invited us to his farm house at Kelve and though we could not go in large group, we were a good number to have fun all the way. The train journey was just amazing eating wada pao with some delicious chatni, not the red one, and Khaman dhokala with nagori chai. The best part of traveling by train is all the food we get.

We reached after two hours to find such great arrangements done by him for us. The surprise element was a lovely little pool with the background of the forest and a stream flowing. The weather was perfect.

We had some delicious food and the day just passed.  We returned back in the evening. They bid me goodbye and I got into an Uber pool. In the past I have used Uber pool just thrice and have always been a solo traveler. The driver was chatting away as usually happens with me and as I was thinking that again there will be no one else,  he got a call from a person for whom we had to change our route.

We reached the co passenger and the journey began again. It was a new Ritz and new Ritz back seat is designed very badly. So as the co passenger came, I got out and sat in the front seat. The person was a young man and he was like why r u sitting in front Maam, I shall sit. I told him I need a proper head rest. I had already told the driver to keep some cushions and this young man said the same as he sat behind and had the same experience.

He then mentioned my name and asked where was I heading. I was surprised and looked at the phone and saw that the co passenger's name was also mentioned. I told him my destination and said what a blessing Uber was. Next question was why did I think so. At that moment my gut told me this young man definitely deals with cars, however I answered him that I find traveling by Uber very convinient, safe, economical, comfortable and my entire family uses this mode of transportation. He went to ask if we had a car.  Now I was sure he was doing a survey. I replied we had a small car at the moment and since our vento  met with an accident we had not yet bought another one and were in the process of looking for an SUV. We want to travel the country and maybe even Thailand by road so looking for a good suv. He enquired if we had zeroed in on any.  To which I replied that I was fond of Mahindra XUV as I have traveled in my friend's SUV while going to forests in karnataka and I find that vehicle very nice. He asked as a driver or as a rider. I told him I had stopped driving long back and this was my husband's territory and I would not really interfere in the decision as man and his machine is a different story altogether. I told him my husband was fond of Innova which also I feel is comfortable but I like Mahindra XUV. I also told him during our last travel we kept seeing ahead of us many XUV's and that I told my husband that it is a sign from the universe. Now that according to me is a subtle interference between the man and his machine.
I did not tell him I also like Ford Endeavor and Ecosport.

My next question to him, though I hardly asked him any, was obvious. Was he into cars and he gave a little laugh and said incidentally he was the general manager at Mahindra and in charge of selling XUV's.
I was like wow, certainly there are no coincidences. His destination was much ahead of mine and as he left we both exchanged out cards. He said to let him know if I was buying one and if my husband wanted any convincing, he would gladly help.

So now we have a lot of signs from the universe,  depends if we follow or we don't.

With magical love

Salma

Our heart understands the signs but our brain, which is all the time working ahead of time, refuses to
