Life is Indeed Beautiful

Being a counselor , I get many cases where people come and talk about many things which are missing in their lives or what is troubling them. One major and deep part missing for most people is love, care affection either from the spouse, children or the near and dear ones. And in most cases the people who feel something is missing because of others actually do not love themselves . Cause when you love yourself, then you start giving love to everyone and everything around you, you fall in love, u see love everywhere and u receive love when u become love.

One must keep some clippings of the movie life is beautiful to appreciate and understand love. Love for life, love for family, love for everything  and everyone. The readers might find my statement ," I don't watch TV" contradictory when I give examples of movies everytime . However the universe is suddenly conspiring for me to watch some great movies .

So life is beautiful is about a Jewish father who spins a beautiful fairy tale for his son Joshua while they r in the most brutal nazi camp. I actually avoid watching the movies which have torture and sadness . Though I had seen this movie some years ago, I watched it this time with a different perspective . I saw the abundance of love, positivity, optimism , confidence of a father who wants his son to believe that they were there because they were in a competition . It is just awe inspiring the way the father carries the posture of grandiose to make the son believe that they were actually privileged to be there.  The little boy Joshua is also just too cute. In fact it is the true depiction by Joshua who survived because of his father. Not one moment did the father allow the son to believe what the other children were talking about the gas chamber and the end of children and old people .

It is just amazing how a person looks at the world despite death hovering around all the time. Death is actually in the air there and while most of them have resigned to their fate, this person is spreading love to his child all the time, taking every opportunity to send love to his wife who had a chance to not come to the camp , but she insisted and was there. To some it may appear to be denial, however I felt that this denial saved the life of his child, this denial led him to March happily towards his end.

So when  ever u feel the world is a bad place and how unfortunate u r,  I suggest watch some parts of this movie and ur perspective will change.  U shall see love around and that too in abundance as God has created this world with love and  for love. When u wake up and look outside u see the hibiscus has decided to bloom and send love to you , the sun has risen to give you sunshine, that is love, u get a smile and hug from ur dear ones,  the biggest blessing to have a family around. Your pet is furiously wagging his tail because u r up, u look forward to the day to do your work to give and receive love. U step out of the house and people greet and smile and there r dogs waiting down to receive love along with food. Let me tell u the dog downstairs kali does not drink milk if I do not pet her. For me it is the best thing to watch how kali and kalu start dancing when they know they r getting milk,  for me that is love for life.

So I would say,  stop being obsessed with what is missing and look, hear, smell, feel around, there is abundance of love. More than u can handle.
